Please note that the following review is based on my experience with this product on a large and heavy laptop. Your experience may differ from smaller devices. Based on the price and reviews, I bought it for my heavy 17" laptop. Although the laptop wanted to lean back due to the weight distribution, the initially grippy band/material held it in place. After a few days (less than However, after about a week) the tape actually started peeling off the frame, allowing the laptop to move. I figured it out with rubber bands while considering other options. Also add that the stand isn't the most durable construction, but matches the price. To be perfectly honest this stand will probably fit a small and light laptop. If you have a 13" or a light 15" it will probably work just fine.
