Review on Wood Trick Mechanical Assembly Construction puzzles by Ross Decoteau

I bought this set for my teenage son to keep him busy during quarantine. The set arrived in perfect condition and he was able to build the setup. He didn't have much trouble removing pieces from the board and didn't break a single piece. Unfortunately it didn't work after putting it together. He tried for 2 days to get the plant working and he couldn't handle it. He took the pieces apart and filed them several times, and it just didn't work automatically with the gum. He did it by hand from the start. He was still happy with it because it was fun to build and still worked.
