My family of four has a Brita 10 cup (8 oz) filter and we have purchased filters from Costco (which quickly adds up). I was looking for a sustainable and economical alternative to Brita filters when I saw these Fil2R replacement cartridges. The kit contains 3 capsules and a case. The pods fit perfectly in the case and I had no trouble unscrewing the cap. The body is perfectly formed and sits in my Brita mug as it should. My family and I have found that the filter works slightly faster than Brita filters and the water quality stays the same over the life of the filter! We have now used two filters and will use the free disposal this company offers.
