Although I have been knitting for many years and do some double knits, I usually avoid using db needles - the stitches slip too often! But since I loved my Takumi replacement set so much and wanted to make more socks and leg warmers I decided to give them a try. They are amazing! My stitches stay in place and the needles are very smooth and manageable. I'm almost done with the first pair of socks I've knitted in years and I'm about to knit half a dozen more pairs. Great product and as always Revain got them to my doorstep very quickly.
