Glossy Black Hood Scoop for Mini Cooper R56 S R55/R57/R58/R59 2007-2013 with ATEX Feature Review

I lost my original air duct so I took a chance with this item. So far it has held up well on fast trails. I just want it in factory colors.

Excellent fit for my 2009 MINI Cooper Clubman S. Looks more aggressive and makes the bucket on the hood functional. I would recommend ordering new clips as by September 10th you will break the old ones by removing the OEM bucket.

The picture clearly shows a complete hood scoop with mounting hardware. I received a plastic scoop that was not mounted, just "glued" over the existing bonnet scoop. In addition, it was too small and did not fit the Mini Cooper R56 as described. I think you sent me the wrong item. I returned it.

Product comes without instructions or mounting clips. You have to reuse standard clips that are difficult to fit on the bucket. As soon as you move forward you'll notice that the screw that's under the hood in the bucket isn't aligned properly either. After you're done, you can enjoy your crooked shovel.

Machine manufactured in 2009 The original bucket was damaged by the heat. general age problem. actually pulled away from the car when it was being washed. Ryan comes to the rescue! I ordered this and a Scoop mounting kit. snapped directly into place, completed the bracket under the hood with a screw. Very satisfied. Looks more aggressive than the original. My son is very happy!

The scoop on the hood is well made. Nothing cheap. Pretty easy to install. The only problem was aligning a small mounting bracket with the screw holes. I had to use a thick washer and a longer screw to line up the two holes. The installation took about 20 minutes in total. The glossy black color against the light blue color looks amazing. Very happy with the cooker hood.

Fits my 2011 Mini Hardtop. However, the kit does not include the plastic mounting pins needed for mounting to the vehicle body. Had to spend another $20 at the mini retailer. Also, the metal screws used to attach the pictured grid surface to the bucket do not fit into the corresponding holes on the actual hooded bucket. Using the first one caused a crack in the hood scoop bolt hole so I reused the originals from my old hood scoop which fitted correctly. It's plastic after all, we'll see how it…

I finally had to buy a new bonnet scoop after my regular bonnet blew off while driving on the Autobahn. My 2011 Mini, this shovel fits perfectly. I was a bit unsure how the quality would be assured as it costs a lot less than other shovels I've come across. I feel sturdy and appear to be well made.
