The metallic aspect of this lipstick is actually glitter that somehow manages to pull off your lips and end up outside your lips and on your chin maybe when the creamy part of the lipstick starts to fade. I used to have a metallic lipstick and this one is a glitter lipstick. Even in the form of a shiny lipstick, glitter does not stay on the lips. I wouldn't recommend this at all if you don't like wearing glitter on your face. I'm glad I tested this at home before attempting to wear it in public! For those who love glitter, I find that the color isn't opaque, it just looks blotchy and muddy. In the trash with that lipstick.
