Bronze Rose Long-Lasting Lipstick Crème Review

After looking for the perfect pink color for the last couple years, I finally found it! I have very olive skin so typically pinks look too bright on me or the undertone of my lips will make it look more violet than pink. I purchased this in the Citronade Rose/Ballet Pink color and couldn't be happier. The color is perfect and the staying power is great. I really like the quality of this product. It's light on the lips and stays on really well. Only notice needing to reapply after eating. Drinking should be okay. Color is very vibrant, a beautiful metallic. However, I docked it a star because it was much orange-er than the rose gold I expected. Since skin tone/undertone and lip pigmentation can affect color, for reference I am a fair neutral with naturally dusky rose lips. I covered it with a sheer pink gloss and was happy with the result.

I really like the formula of this lip cream. Its very light and comfortable and doesn't wear off too easily. I ordered pamplemousse because the praline and other metallic pink have been out of stock, so its not really the color I want or that suits me super well, but I do like it and with the right eyeshadow and outfit can pull it off no problem. I also really like the size of the stick. It IS small for $18, but Its very pretty and sophisticated looking. I will purchase one of my desired colors

The color was fantastic on this as well as the smell. The ease of applying was greatbut it was not smudge and smear proof through eating. It also left residue of color on glasses, straws etc. I was looking for a more inexpensive alternative to lipsense and this doesn't even come close for only a little less money. I gave it 3 stars because if I wasn't expecting it to be a long lasting lip color, I would have liked it alot (but then would have thought it was a little over priced!)

I purchased the product looking for a metallic lipstick for a costume that wasn't going to be dry and set in the lines in my lips, or be scratchy. This product met both criteria. It applied nicely, it's not sticky like many glosses I've tried. The wear was nice but it did require a few reapplications. I loved the color, and even though I don't generally wear metallics, I can see getting a lot of use out of this one. It has just enough shine and pink is not glaring, more of a neutral.

I've been looking at this color of lipstick on my non-stop Facebook ads for a couple of months and finally decided to order it for myself for Christmas based on the color it looks like it is online. I don't know why I didn't "listen" to the woman who posted the pics (she liked the color) where the color looked reddish/copper and not AT ALL like the other ads (which is a creamy darker rose color with a sheen of rose gold). I was very hesistant about ordering, seeing that I had not tried this product before and was concerned how the color would look. Normally, I purchase lipstick in the stores before ordering online. So I was taking a chance. I was totally surprised. I love it, goes on easy, does not dry my lips, stays moist and the color is lasting. I have been wearing it everyday. I will be buying other shades. You can't go wrong with this one.

I found this to be darker than anticipated. I think its easiest to use a brush to apply to the lips due to the strong pigmentation. I will add that I think the formula is drying because it is matte. When I have worn this I have added lip gloss or balm on-top, which I think looks better.

I got the papaye color and absolutely loved the color when I looked at it in the tube. When I put it on with the brush it was much lighter and more gold than I expected. I am light olive toned and it washed me out. I think with a bit of sun it will look better this summer. Goes on smooth. I cool cool metallic rose but it's actually quite warm. I'm pretty neutral and can wear cools and warms but this color is not as accurate as the swatch shows. Its warmer red undertones and darker. I was hoping for a shimmery dusty rose, but got more brick tone.

I put a dab of vaseline for lips over my lipstick wait a bit then apply this jouer. I love it! I normally wear chanel gloss brilliance in the summer, which is totally 80s frost pink and is perfectly paired with a tan. But the goldtone of the Papaye Jouer is fun too with a tan. It does leave your lip dry which is why a dab of vaseline for lips underneath is perfect fix.

I’ve tried many long wearing lipsticks and this is the only one that doesn’t irritate or dry out my lips, yet stays on for hours. Snapdragon, citronade rose and skinny dip are my favorites, which also happen to be much more reasonably priced than the competitor brands. I love this stuff and wish I could get it sent out every month. I am all about my lips and this product replaces lip liner as well as lasts all day! I put it on and it has a wonderful scent. I go along the outer edges of my lips and fill in. I do the lip rub, back and forth and within a minute, the product is dry, with a nice matt finish. I work online on cam, take lunch breaks and drink water continuously, it does not fade off. Genius!

This lipstick was old and dried out. Sent back and got a replacement- same thing. Don’t buy!I love this brand and know this was not their usual MO. Probably sold on ebay by third party.

WOW! This is great! This brand is a thin consistency that applies easily and evenly with a doe foot applicator. The product dries relatively quickly, without being at all sticky or goopy. While it's not the longest wearing I've ever used, that's ok w me. It holds up to basic beverages, and ordinary wear, and still looks decent. I have purchased several of the brand's matte lip cremes, and each is a five * choice.

This is an absolutely beautiful color with the perfect matte finish and longer wear. I wore this lipstick to test how well it stays on after regular activities like eating or kissing (not smooching) and it stood as a winner and my favorite.
