I love wine, but I can't and don't want to drink the whole bottle in one night. My husband prefers beer to wine. I've had up to 20+ bottles of wine ($15+ per bottle) that I didn't drink because I didn't want to open them and then could only use the other half of the bottle for cooking. This little gadget changed everything! I pour what I want, immediately pop on a vacuum cap, pump out the air until it clicks, and toss the bottle in the fridge door. I just remembered the bottle I opened five days ago. I'm sipping my last glass as I write this and I'm impressed. The wine definitely doesn't taste like it's freshly opened, it just tastes like slightly fizzy red wine, which is perfect. It does NOT taste sour or unpleasant. I was looking for CO2 systems that were outside of my budget. I'm so glad I chose this little system! Highly recommend if you're not into alcoholism but don't want to waste good wine either.
