I purchased this product after my Creative 2.0 Pebble speakers failed after a few months. I wanted something with bass as the Creative speakers didn't have it. And while these speakers have a subwoofer, the overall setup is fine, but I think you get what you pay for. The only thing I noticed is that the headphone jack in the puck doesn't work. I turn on the sound and almost nothing can be heard. It's not a deal breaker, but come on, it has to be brand new. I like that the subwoofer has a volume control that you can use to adjust it. I had to turn it down really low because it tends to overwhelm a few speakers. I'm still debating whether to return the speakers or not. I bought an additional 3 year insurance as it was relatively cheap and I didn't want to risk it after my recent experience with Creative speakers. These speakers are great if you don't want to spend a lot but are considering insurance. It seems computer speakers tend to wheeze for some odd reason.
