Not. Simply not. This Norporo spaetzle maker was a replacement for the old Norpro - it was replaced because the handle no longer fitted the rails snugly and cooking with it became a real hazard. Against common sense I ordered it again. Today I made some spaetzle in preparation for the party. At the third installment the handle moved, at the sixth and final installment I had to tie a white plastic handle to the metal bars with a rubber band. After cooking I washed my hands and tried to put the handle back in the slots and put it away. But no. The plastic has moved away from the metal and is no longer securely attached to the metal. That should have been enough for more than six games. He didn't even see the dishwasher. Is plastic so cheap that it will shrink if hung over a pot of hot water for a few minutes while you're making dough for a maker? What an exciting 2 hours I spent with my "new" spaetzle machine.
