I like these shoes but my son gets annoyed when sand gets in the holes. Thought it would be good so they don't get hot in it and they are great to wear in the water apart from the sand issue. But you can not have it all. I love them and will not send them back. I now put socks on him when I know he's going to wear them to kindergarten. They are great for any other activity as kids can easily put them on and take them off. And although they're just ankle strap slippers, they offer great support and fit him well. I bought a size 7 and he is 2 years old. They fit perfectly.
