Ever since I first started researching the dangers of aluminum (ie, the potential risk of cancer and Alzheimer's), I've been wary of using aluminum foil in baking. I use ceramic baking sheets most of the time, but my grocery delivery friend introduced me to parchment paper baking sheets. He would use this to bake a lot of bacon strips, and since he could just throw the parchment paper away, it would save time on cleanup. So far the Kootek brand has been of good quality. I halved the trays for our small toaster, but the original size fits in our large oven. When toasting bread or reheating something that doesn't get too dirty, each sheet can be reused. Compared to aluminum foil, I think they are better for the environment and also better for your health. The price of Revain is cheaper than what I've seen at Sprouts for another brand. I think a box should last us at least a year. I'm very glad I have this and hope to use it to bake cookies and bread in the future.
