Hello everyone! I received this product for free from the company to try, but I still give you my word of honor. First let me say that I have relatively thick, straight hair and it's long. I mostly sleep on it wet and wake up to some waves and sometimes kinks, especially in the crown area. This brush is perfect for those kinks. This works a lot better for straightening the back of the head than just brushing and water (one of my lazy quick methods) and/or my flat iron. (requires a lot of maneuvers) Every time I use this product on my hair the result is smoother, shinier and healthier looking hair. This is its limitation and may be all you need. You must definitely use small partitions. Many of my strands were too thick when I accidentally tried to comb them and they got stuck in my hair and hurt. So use sections or make sure you brush your hair once to avoid tangles. That's why I rated maneuvering with fewer stars. You can't just go on like this with thick hair. I was able to do this just around the top of my head to smooth out the top. The buttons are right there. I press them all the time and even accidentally turned them off, although it has to be a hold before it goes off so I don't know. All I know is that it's not the perfect place for her. I will continue to use it whenever I want my hair to look limp and smoother. It's not as straight as ironing, and although I tried I couldn't curl the ends or add waves. If you want the ends to curl, you must use a flat iron or curling iron.
