Enhance Safety with Starlights SL-1000 Smart Light 1000 12-volt Exterior Motion Light in Black Review

I upgraded our bus headlight to this one. It now comes with an LED bulb but I ended up replacing a higher wattage LED bulb. The motion sensor is good at night. You must be able to properly install exterior lights on RVs. Don't look for labels and do it right or you could catch an electrical fire and/or flood.

I used to have this product. It works very well except the white lens on the cardinal side only lasts a couple of years and then the plastic breaks down and lets water into the mount and it's useless. I bought another pair for my RV. I hope I can get 3 years out of them. It's really bright and the movement lifts you up from 30 feet away. You just need to make the white plastic lens a little more durable.

Extremely easy installation. The adjuster sits under a bright lens and needs to be adjusted at night in the dark to know if your settings are working the way you want them to. Lots of tiny screws that can come loose if dropped. I have never changed the factory settings, it is off during the day and on at night. Bright enough to illuminate the patio, but when the canopy is removed and locked in the down position, it prevents light from flashing into our neighbors' windows.

This review is late as I bought this flashlight last year. I had high hopes for this light which I installed on my RV in place of my current porch light.
