Review on Enhance Safety with Starlights SL-1000 Smart Light 1000 12-volt Exterior Motion Light in Black by Eric Carr

I bought this unit to replace an old one I installed about 5 years ago. The old device had problems with the motion sensor lenses. The lenses were not UV protected and rotted after 2 years. My friend had the same problem. The seller provided us with replacement lenses that worked perfectly. After 5 years I think too much vibration while driving caused my light to work intermittently when parking. You have to "tap" on the body to "wake up" (my friend's device works fine). So I ordered a replacement block. When it arrived and I opened the box, the LED bulb was detached from the base. I'm not sure if the broken lightbulb broke during shipping or if the lightbulb was defective. Anyway, I called to get a replacement lamp and I'm waiting for an answer. I will update this post when I get an answer.
