Review on 🔌 MG Chemicals 4890 60/40 Rosin Core Leaded Solder Wire Pocket Pack - 0.032" Diameter - 2 Pack by Chris Pettway

This 60/40 lot is exactly what I was looking for. I'm a computer engineer who loves to tinker, and 60/40 was what I used in my hardware-related lessons. I just decided to stick with it and found a winner. It seems to melt with my Weller iron as expected and flows well. The only thing you might worry about is the size. I've used it on several different projects and it was a good average diameter. If you have a magnifying glass it might be too big but I used it even there and it was fine. Then, on RC projects where I spliced larger wires, I was able to put in enough material to make a good connection without the connection being so quick that I felt like I wasn't holding anything. If you're a pro looking for a good reel for most situations (you probably already know it, but.) this is a good one. If you are a beginner and want to try your hand at soldering again, this is the perfect first try article.
