I have a 2009 Chevrolet Silverado HD 8' Bed Extended Cab with power windows. I watched some videos on youtube how to remove the existing mirrors, remove the door panel and replace the mirrors with these tow mirrors. If your door panel has never been removed, you will notice that the plug and play socket is secured under the switch panel. The dash panel slides out in the middle rather than the top, and once the door panel and power window panel are removed, you can easily see the outlet to unplug the old one and plug in the new one. It took me about 45 minutes to do both doors and I am happy with these mirrors. Parking lights are the only thing I didn't have plugged in, other functions, front and rear turn signals and heated mirrors are plug and play. At some point I can connect the parking light. Great looking mirror on my Silverado and I would highly recommend it.
