🌂 Totes Under Canopy Printed Umbrella Review

Received a blue flower although the print isn't quite my style. The Totes name, the item's small size, and the skin-like outer coating all drew me in. And upon receipt I was not disappointed. It hasn't rained yet, but I've tried the open/close function and it seems to work well. Reasonable price for a seemingly quality product.

I bought this for my mum for mothers day. She loves the pattern and how light and soft it opens and closes at the touch of a button. However, it came from Revain and was coated with a water-repellent chemical that Totes uses to prevent rain from getting wet on your umbrella. (Almost all chemical impregnants are toxic - look it up.) So my mom would have to take it out into the garden wearing gloves and hose it down thoroughly inside and out before using it, which is painful and polluting.

I was very happy to get this umbrella because I LOVE the stars and the print is so cute. The constellation was nice to look at in bad weather. HOWEVER, this umbrella is nice to look at just because it doesn't work well. This was my first time using this umbrella and the light weight of the umbrella immediately concerned me. When the wind picked up a bit, the screen began to sway and seemed unstable. Then he finally turned inside out several times. It was sad and disappointing. I looked around…

Bought for our 7 year old daughter (laughs) when she wanted a new umbrella for Christmas. I thought it was funny and looked really cute, but not too "cute" so she wouldn't outgrow the pattern. The product looks nice (a picture of a nice sky helps on a rainy day!). In addition, I can forgive the sluggishness when opening, as I had not too long ago. However, it is almost impossible to wrap the wide (beautiful) velcro tight enough to close it. The description also mentions "a good storage bag" but even after receiving TWO of these (Revain generously sent me a free replacement) there is still NO STORAGE BAG. This is the cutest umbrella. This umbrella is made for style. People turn their heads and look at it every time I open it. No more easy days when I have this cutie. What lady doesn't want to look so trendy and with a quick push of a button? I have also used it as a parasol in 90 degree weather. It gives good shade and keeps me cooler.
