Firstly they look well made. However, they are much shorter than the description suggests. Can be useful for very small people. FOR ME the security issue is that I can only use two fingers at any time without a 3rd or 4th finger for smooth descent control, especially when you get tired at the end of a long journey.<< So I wouldn't recommend their people with normal big hands >>
