I have used various brands and strengths of gloves to protect against automotive, woodworking, carpentry, construction, plumbing, and farming chemicals. These gloves are amazing! In fact I took them off and set them aside to allow any moisture left in them to dry out and reuse as they are very durable. I used 9 mil disposable gloves and while they were protective, there was a loss of finesse and dexterity. I couldn't lift the washing machine off a flat surface, which limited its usefulness. I've used 4 mil gloves with great dexterity but zero durability. Hook them to anything, plastic, metal, or wood, and they'll snap. I am completely satisfied with these gloves and their color makes it easier to work in low light and lets you see better where you are working (e.g. in the engine compartment). I have not yet torn the glove and have only thrown away the gloves that I could use because they were coated with something I would not rub off or other products such as pipe and thread sealant, used grease, used motor oil, linseed oil, threadlocker, anti- Seize, antifreeze etc. They are priced right and the large size fits my fingers well and fits freely in the palm of my hand but it is perfect for me and helps with dexterity. I can pick up washers from flat surfaces.
