After 40 months of use and hundreds of kills, my old fly swatter couldn't stay afloat with duct tape or crazy glue. This new zapper is huge and will take some time to master, but I expect to surpass the number of kills with my previous zapper. This new one has a longer handle, which can be a disadvantage for people with small hands. It has a pleasant light. This one seems more durable, two piece, but I don't like the yellow color so it needs to be painted. So far, it has been excellent at killing mosquitoes and small flying bugs. Flies and larger ones take longer to be destroyed or just crushed when you knock them down. Good Hunting!
