I recently got a new HP laptop from my job as a teacher and realized too quickly that there were some things I needed access to with a floppy drive. what the laptop lacked. With this product, I can continue to use the discs as needed. I had to download the software to use it; I was just checking out the DVD playback option on the Microsoft App Store. Once everything was sorted out, it was easy to use and became my handy companion when I needed to burn discs to a media player or play DVDs. I'm glad I have it!
