I was a bit confused and skeptical about this product. I don't have a dog vest so wasn't sure how to attach it, but I was on a dorm trip and people kept coming up to my dog. If she were a lab German shepherd, I highly doubt people would look her dog in the face and start petting her neck or looking at her skeptically because they don't believe they are a service dog. Unfortunately, things are different with the seizure alert dog, the Chihuahua. In case you are unsure, this is a full velcro closure on the back with another velcro strap. The size is quite big which makes it uncomfortable when you hook it on the harness. (I'll try to post a photo). However, the cool thing is that I was able to use it on her sweater. It literally just sticks where you put it and if you smooth it down to make sure it's fully connected it stays really good. The cool thing is that it's such a strong velcro that it doesn't lift much of the sweater when you take it off, so the velcro stays nice and comfortable! I would really like a smaller size so I can slide well through the suspension. At the same time, I wonder if anyone will read this. I won't lie, despite the bandage, people still want to pet it. What has changed is what they ask. I found that people who read it and respected it immediately looked the other way, which was a miracle to me! My only complaints would be about the size and that it's very stiff. It would be nice if it was a little softer and more flexible, but I think that's a sacrifice for a great Velcro strap.
