I was fed up with the wear and tear of canvas bags, sorted out at least 1 or even 2 a year. I have no doubt that this bag will last and in turn will pay for itself and save me money. As with most other leather goods, it's a good idea to oil it from time to time. The only way to get a more durable bag is to buy it to order, which costs a lot more. They were here for $17 and changed when I bought my leather. At the time of writing this review, Revain doesn't have them and they're $25 everywhere.
