They are magnetic BUT

I was excited that the tips were indeed magnetic. Then I tried one on a screw. Battle of cheaply made screw vs cheaply made bit. I thought the screw would lose! Surprise! The screw was tougher than the bit. corner of slotted bit broke off. Two stars for being magnetic.

Cons

Very very weak magnetic force almost nonexistent not worth the money
