My husband and I made a king-sized headboard for our bed. We bought B-Board from Home Depot, had them cut it to size, grabbed some matching trim and used the SamaN for stain.I did this paint job outside. There was barely any smell at all. After I sanded the pieces and brushed the sand dust, I used a piece of an old towel to apply the turquoise stain and another to wipe off the excess stain to reveal the grain. We did not do that and found that it clumped complete fault of our own but even still it turned out good for what we were wanting. But if you’ve never stained anything before it’d probably be good to watch a vid instead of just going off of the side instructions.

I bought the Azur blue to stain my kitchen iseland. The color is what I had hoped for but the stain is a bit thicker than what I expected and you have to work fast in order to get it even without noticing overlay. Make sure you have time you finish once you start as it dries a bit quicker than expected. I really like the color, I used it for the top and legs of my workbench I built. It came out looking good after a few coats of polyurethane. My one complaint is that the product claims no pre-stain is necessary, so I didn't use pre-stain, and the results were blotchy, which I later learned is exactly what pre-stain is meant to prevent. Low/non-existent odor, quick absorbtion, quick dry, nice strawberry red color on unfinished wood. Deserves 5 stars, but I gave it 4 stars because the product is way overpriced for such a tiny bottle. I absolutely love these wood stains. I have purchased two shades for different projects and both exceeded my expectations. They are color accurate once you determine the shade you need and I have used them on scratched wood floors as well as brightening up scratched antique furniture. They look incredible now. I would highly recommend this product.

Pictures: first- finished dry, middle- half glazed and half not and third- only initial stain color on unfinished door slab. Stain went on great and very evenly. It does absorb rapidly, but I love it and it was very helpful being water-based, very easy to work with my project came out better than anticipated! This was an unfinished door- now it’s turquoise stain, coat of poly, coat of black stain, coat of poly with one day drying between each.

I used this stain on the arms of a wood futon couch and chair that my dog stands up on all the time and had scratched the hell out of. Not only was it easy to use, but my dog is unable to scratch it! He's still putting his front claws on the chair and couch arms at least ten times a day, and this stain is standing up to it! This is a VERY durable finish. Highly recommended!

I found a Dixie nightstand that was made in the 1940s, with the original mahogany finish. The top of it had extreme wear and it had nicks and marks on the rest of the nightstand. This product took two coats on the top and one for the rest of it. The stain went on easy and my hands, sponge brush and plastic container for the product cleaned up quickly with warm water and dishwashing liquid. My nightstand turned out looking great, while still appearing like it has its original mahogany finish.

I use these stains a LOT. They work great, don’t have an oder and are easy to clean. Normally I would 5 star, but this was just poor quality on the sellers part with packaging. I ordered Black along with x5 other colors at the same time, from the same seller. I received them in x3 different packages. 1 box, x2 bubble padded envelopes. When I received it, I dabbed a bit on a sample piece of wood and it has far too much red. I know they say color can vary with different woods, but it's far too light and red for my usage. When I first applied it, while damp, my first thought was barn red. Then it dried to a lighter shade, but still too red. Didn't remotely resemble the square on the bottle on the website. This product works as described, it’s one coat and easy to apply. My only issue is the color is different than advertised. It’s a much lighter and warmer brown. In the photo, the right is a shelf I was trying to kind of match. The middle is the bottle of the American walnut colored stain. I ordered ash grey, but the stain and wood came out very blue. The color looks nothing like the photos. I also have to agree with others that this is more like paint than a stain.

This stain absorbed into the wood, plastic wood, and silicone wood filler evenly. It definitely holds true to not raising the wood grain. I selected the BRANDY color; it was slightly a more red tint than I had anticipated but I am loving it. This factor is due to the base wood from the start and the amount of stain I applied. Product is easy to use. I had deep sratches in my varnished wood doors. The gel was fairly easy to apply and made my doors look much more presentable. Only in careful inspection can you see that there may have been scratches.

The color as shown on the outside of the bottle was the perfect match I was looking for, however, the actual color turned out to be an entirely different shade.

The big box stores sell stainable wood and only carry Minwax like stain products that are expensive, labor intensive with poor results - this stuff just works, easy to apply, no VOCs and all at a tenth the cost of Minwax like stains.

The picture with the C on it is before and clearly, you see the after and the amazing results. Easy to do and very fast and quick!
