Easy Marble wrap in my review

I decided to try my hand at a DIY project. I painted a shelf copper and wrapped wood slabs in the marble paper wrap. The marble paper wrap is super durable and wasn’t cheap or anything! It was actually like wrapping a Christmas present. As long as you’re patient and take your time, it can be don’t fairly easy! I was worried I wouldn’t be able to wrap the wood without getting bubbles. Luckily, the quality of the paper wrap is so good, I didn’t have any problems with bubbling or if I wanted to…

Pros
  • Easy to clean
Cons
  • May not hold up well under heavy items or pressure

it was easy to apply

Once I got the first couple inches cut off and out of the way, it was easy to apply. The first couple inches of the product was crinkled and impossible to adhere without it looking horrible. But once I got to the smooth paper, it was BEAUTIFUL. After a month of being attached it is still sticking down good. Love it!

Pros
  • Introducing! Easy to clean and apply delivers the key to wipe it clean with a damp cloth. Even though it looks textured, it's smooth and easy to wash - The Easy Way. Best partner for silhouette cameo and cricut vinyl sheets.
Cons
  • Can be difficult to match the pattern at seams and corners

The Hype Isn't That Real

Man people had me super excited for this. A little harder to install if you do it by yourself, but it didn't turn out like I hoped it would. Don't get me wrong, it looks like everyone elses.but when you get to see it up close you see the lines from overlapping and the patterns look, 'off.'Its a decent product, but not for me. If you are looking for a super cheap way to give your counter a new look then its fine. But expect it to look a little cheap.Corners are an absolute nightmare lol but you…

Pros
  • The only thing I would have liked if the roll would have been wider.
Cons
  • Can be difficult to remove without damaging the surface underneath

It’s just ok on my review.

This is not vinyl it’s definitely a plastic film. It’s hard to work with it dose not conform well to any changes in surfaces. I covered a countertop with it had to heat the edges with a hair dryer to make the folds for the countertop ends. Looks ok. I was not able to go around the sink easy due to the stiffness of the material. I removed the sink covered the counter and reinstalled the sink. Would only recommend for a flat surface

Pros
  • Ok, dose'nt nsych with previous one I have.
Cons
  • May not stick well in humid or moist environments

I love how it looks. It's much prettier in person than the photos show. And i love that it's shiny and feels good to run your hand across.I don't love how small the paper is. If only it were cut a little wider I would be able to cover more space in less time and have a lesser amount of the edge lines showing. I would spend more to get the same paper cut wider so I can cover a larger countertop. Thanks!

Pros
  • Time-saving
Cons
  • Can be difficult to line up patterns when using multiple rolls

Favorite one good for me

This is my third time buying this particular brand. I really love it super thick, very durable, and can actually put heat on it without it melting. If you're trying to do a quick fix or or something renter friendly definitely a great buy.Depending on how the counters are shaped it can be very easy. Be careful and make sure you lay it out before you unpill the back it is very hard to redo.

Pros
  • Durable material: The high-quality vinyl is waterproof and can withstand high temperatures, making it ideal for kitchen use
Cons
  • May not be suitable for use in areas with heavy moisture or water exposure

Easy to Apply - my new review

My countertops are this hideous blue laminate color, the kitchen I used peel and stick flooring to make it look like butcher block (looks and holds up great, btw) and since the bathroom vanities are small I plan on one day replacing them, but as a quick and cheap fix I bought this contact paper and it did the trick. I wouldn’t want this somewhere that you use a lot because I could see water potentially ruining it, but in the spare bathroom it does the trick.

Pros
  • Absolutely LOVE! Easy to apply, sticks well, looks and feels awesome. You won’t be disappointed!
Cons
  • Can be difficult to install without help from a professional

Does not stick, weak adhesive

So I can only say ONE good thing about this product, and that is if you make a mistake with placement, it easily peels up so you can readjust the paper. But obviously that’s also bad - even when placed perfectly, it STILL peels up easily. It does not "set”, and does not have a strong adhesive as stated on the packaging. And because this product has a marble pattern, it’s impossible to align edges (the seam is quite noticeable) Lastly, the paper is very shiny which gives it an unnatural look for

Pros
  • The realistic marble design adds a touch of elegance to any kitchen
Cons
  • May not be suitable for use with certain cookware or utensils

Easier with 2 people!

This is the coolest idea to help give an old counter a new look without having to spend a lot of money. The rolls aren't as big as I was expecting so I had to cut into two sections to cover one small area , but if you like up the edges well enough you can't tell. It's a little difficult to do it on your own, 2 people works better but this was definitely something I will be using again!

Pros
  • I love this product. Great price and good quality.
Cons
  • Can be difficult to cut neatly without special tools

Bring Anything Back To Life!

This stuff is beautiful used it to cover a bookcase top I'm soooooo pleased. Use an old credit card to smooth out bubbles and use a blow dryer to heat up the glue on the edges for better adhesion. you are good to go!

Pros
  • Brilliant! 16" X 89.25" 1 PACK!!! Realistic Marble Contact Paper printed textures helps you to display and show off your new finish like a waterproof wallpaper without worry. High quality and crisp white printing lets you update your decor with ease.
Cons
  • May not be as scratch-resistant as real marble

I'm satisfied. I've had to about a month+ and it's .

For what it's worth, I think it did it's job. Honestly, you can't really tell it's not "real" marble, but given how you must overlap on some of the countertop pieces when you cut to fit, if you get too too close you can tell lol. Though, no one's looking THAT close when they come to visit. It brightened up my kitchen, I'm satisfied. I've had to about a month+ and it's holding up (even through the water spills).

Pros
  • Made from eco-friendly materials, making it a sustainable choice for your kitchen
Cons
  • May not be as smooth as a real marble countertop

Difficult to explain my experience!

Difficult to explain my experience! I began to put a larger piece on an old, ugly, rubbed up composite kitchen counter. Absolutely gross. Knowing anything would be better I began the challenge. At first it was a disaster. The dimensions of the old composit were so out of kilter that trying to stretch a large piece of the contact paper to match along the edges straight made a hundred buckles. It also didn't want to stretch nicely at the counter curve down in front. I ripped it up and threw it…

Pros
  • What a transformation from old countertop to a beautiful countertop, easy to install...
Cons
  • May require multiple rolls to cover larger surfaces

DOES NOT STICK GOOD!

This really has a beautiful marble design. But the adhesion is TERRIBLE. I had to use gorilla glue in some areas to keep it down, and some extra crazy adhesive tape underneath the tables edge(where its hidden) to keep it stuck down. Its such a shame too, because the patern is SO PRETTY!

Pros
  • Adds a modern look to any kitchen without the need for a complete renovation
Cons
  • May not be suitable for use with heavy kitchen equipment

Good for the price on my review.

I was originally going to use this on my counter tops.but one roll wasn’t going to be enough.but it does look nice on my dinning room table! I put it in the middle and then painted a black board around it! 😊 I used the entire roll and did not waste any of it!

Pros
  • It does stick very well . But hard to install yourself
Cons
  • Doesnt stick well at all

Bye ugly cabinets! (And metal bed frame)

Used it to cover hideous kitchen cabinets. Not sure if it will stand the test of time but at least for now they look sooo much better.UPDATE - I used it on a plain black metal bed frame. It doesnt stick as well to the coated metal (Hence 4 stars not 5) as it does to the fake wood/formica on the cabinets. I ended up using clear packing tape to help it along.

Pros
  • Hermoso como mismo se ve en la imagen
Cons
  • May not adhere well to textured surfaces

Heat Question: my feedback

Does anyone know the effects of high temps in this product? For example, if I put down a hot pot or a fry pan for a few seconds, will the film bubble up, blacken and/or melt?

Pros
  • Great decor
Cons
  • Adhesive spray or paste needed when applying. Too thick. Easy to clean.

Thin you can buy better at Walmart

I am sending this item back. I had purchased two years ago. Looked for an hour finding item in my previous orders. So I ordered 5 rolls, received it-not even near the quality I received before, this product don’t look or feel the same. It is cheap, thin paper. $0.99 a roll would be too much. Don’t buy.

Pros
  • Tools & Home Improvement
Cons
  • Can be difficult to get a smooth, even finish without expertise

Revainrating 5 out of 5

So chic and expensive looking!

This is my 3rd time using this marble paper, first I did a table to get the hang of it and to see if I like it. Did my bathroom and now my kitchen. This is the Longest length and best price I’ve come across on Ebay! I love it!

Pros
  • Can withstand high temperatures without peeling or cracking
Cons
  • Can be difficult to remove without using harsh chemicals

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Little harder to do, then it looks. But worth the work!

I wish it had been wider, otherwise I think it looks great, make sure you order enough, I was one short, so had to order more, so can’t finish my project. But I’m pleased with what it looks like so far. I’d recommend this product, it sure brightened up my dull kitchen.

Pros
  • No special tools or skills required to install this self-adhesive vinyl marble countertop
Cons
  • Can be difficult to fix if applied incorrectly

Great product - my new review

Was looking for a way to cut back on painting window sills every few years and came across this. It’s awesome and looks beautiful! Got so many compliments and it’s just soap and water cleaning. Easy to install. Good adhesion. 5 stars.

Pros
  • Anti-oil, Anti-fouling, and wear-resistant
Cons
  • May not be suitable for use in areas with high foot traffic
