Review on SamaN Interior Water Based Wood Stain - Natural Stain For Furniture, Moldings, Wood Paneling & Cabinets (Black TEW-108-12, 12 Oz) by Lawrence George

This product works as described, it’s one coat and easy to apply. My only issue is the color is different than advertised. It’s a much lighter and warmer brown. In the photo, the right is a shelf I was trying to kind of match. The middle is the bottle of the American walnut colored stain. It wasn’t an exact match to my shelf, but kind of close and the same tone. On the left is my cabinet that I applied to stain to. Very different than the color on the bottle. I did do a varnish removal and sanded the cabinet before applying the stain. The color of the actual stain in the bottle, so it doesn’t seem that the natural color of my wood affected the stain color. It just isn’t the same color as advertised.
