I bought these for my daughter. I was very nervous about piercing her ears myself. It was so easy. We disinfected with the provided alcohol wipes, marked the spot with a marker and got ready to pierce. To be honest, I was very nervous and scared the first time. On the second try we counted from 3, held our breath and in no time everything was done. She was in pain for about 20 minutes but said she hasn't been in much pain since. A couple of warnings. Take your time and set things straight. The first earring is perfect but the other one is a bit crooked. As we rotated them daily, we found it easier to rotate them with the back than (in our case) the little silver ball. It's easier to grab and it's securely there. She is already looking forward to her second pair of earrings so we will definitely be buying them again.
