Big buoys for big boats!

Used two A-3 size to keep my 10x30' houseboat from bashing our fixed pier. Easy to inflate with my compressor. Large surface area on impact seems to be much gentler on the boat's siding, not leaving any scuffs. So far they are working great and I see no reason why they won't last for many years to come.Edit: These are still good years later. Adding 2 more for more cushioning in our rough waters.

Pros
  • Docking & Anchoring Equipment
Cons
  • The product may not be very effective in deterring marine life

Purchased for a punching bag

I bought A-3 to use as a heavy bag and I absolutely love it. The key is to find a nozzle/tip that can fit into the air valve, otherwise you will not be able fill the buoy with water. I am 6'3', about 260 pounds, and have been boxing for about 8 months. I can unload on this bag and it takes it like a champ. Do not fill it so it is rock solid (unless you are some absolute machine of a boxer) otherwise you will get pretty sore.

Pros
  • Sports
Cons
  • The buoy may not be very resistant to saltwater damage

Fantastic, Heavy Duty Buoy

I was very impressed with the construction of these Buoys, they are VERY heavy duty and should work perfectly for my application. Make sure you have the correct items to inflate the buoys. These are heavy duty and very thick walled and will not inflate easily without the proper pump and adapter. Not to say you could not retrofit something to work, but I found that it was easier to purchase both the Polyform hand pump and the polyform inflation adapter that fits snuggly into the inflation port…

Pros
  • Well built and durable, perfect buoy for our 24' fishing boat.
Cons
  • Polyform may not stand behind their products if they break

A good one - my new review

Had it for a few months now. It works amazing as a punching bag. Really takes solid hits and trains bare fists. I blew it up with a standard hose and slim nozzle. I bought this one from revain. "Sun Joe Ultimate Solid Brass, Heavy Duty Adjustable Twist Nozzle and Jet Sweeper Nozzle”. I got size A-2 and it’s sufficient for anything I need uppercuts hooks etc. I’m 5”4 if you need reference for the picture. I advise you not to have it under the sun or cover it with a drape as I noticed mine…

Pros
  • I use it as a punching bag. Way more affordable than the name brands and gives you the same work out.
Cons
  • The buoy may not be very durable

Had this bag for a number of years

I completed a video of it on youtube under Weight Bully, sent some hard shots its way and it ate them no problem at all, I used for a punching bag, check it out, have had this bag for a number of years no issues at this time.

Pros
  • Boating & Sailing
Cons
  • The buoy may not be very durable in high traffic areas

One is still intact, one is broken after 2 uses.

I bought two of these back in August for our dock to act as a dock fender. This is for a rental property on a calm canal so I know exactly how many boats are at our dock at any time from our contract information. Since these were deliver in August there have only been two boats at the dock, the last being October. One of these buoy broke on after the 2nd boat. It snapped off at the eye at the top. I only get down a couple times a year so unfortunately I didn't know until recently and I am now…

Pros
  • Provides additional safety and security on watercraft
Cons
  • The product may not be very effective in marking diving areas

Works great as a dive buoy

Used the A2 as a dive buoy and it works great. To make a depth-adjustable setup, I rigged up a 5/8" utility rope with a prusik loop, as seen in the photo. This made my dives so much easier, as I could tighten the line on the fly and have a fairly rigid line to ascend and descend with.I was initially unsure if I should go with the A2 or the A3. For shore dives with placid lake water, the A2 was perfect and I didn't need anything bigger. A3 could be a better option if you're diving off of a boat.

Pros
  • Just missing a shackle. Great for punching. Much cheaper. HAHAHAHHA...
Cons
  • The product may not work well in shallow waters

absorbs punches and doesnt move around too much

so far so goodfilled it with water and hung it up as a punching back. i got the A2 and it's the perfect size. The buoy may not be very effective in attracting marine life!

Color fades quickly; after one summer the top is nearly white

I would love these except for the fact that the color has faded a lot after one summer. I expected it to last longer than that based on other buoys we've purchased. They are durable overall and stay inflated well, and withstand the beating they get from those ignorant wakeboat drivers.

Pros
  • GREAT buy and better alternative to a brand name Water punching bag!
Cons
  • The buoy may not be large enough for certain applications

I RECOMEND THIS TO ANYONE LOOKING FOR AN AQUA PUNCHING BAG!

VERY WELL PLEASED . 100 STARS FOR THIS PRODUCT. I was able to save $30-50. This is exactly the same product that they use in boxing. The only difference is that the boxing one is well over priced.

Pros
  • Affordable alternative to other safety equipment
Cons
  • The product may not be very effective in marking underwater quarries

Perfect for kids swing

Got this for the grandkids to use as a swing. Hung it up for them and they love it! It seems to be well made. I had no trouble inflating it and it has had no leaks.

Pros
  • A great addition to any dock or marina
Cons
  • The buoy may not be very effective in marking underwater pipelines

This is what you need for an anchor ball

Using this as an anchor retrieving ball and it does the job. I don’t know why I’ve ever pulled the anchor without this thing. Quite frankly, it’s about the same amount of work as using a windlass, and without the headache of knots and tangles that often happens with a windlass.

Pros
  • Designed for long-term use
Cons
  • The buoy may not be very effective in identifying hazards

Perfect for any boat over 70’

If you have a big boat these bumpers are the perfect protection against any dock. I use 3/4 rope from the top deck which makes it easy to pull bumpers out of the way . Looks great as well

Pros
  • Made with high-quality, durable materials
Cons
  • The buoy may not offer enough buoyancy to meet certain regulations

The odour is terrible.

I feel like I should've just invested an extra $100 in the head hunter aqua bag because this bag STINKS. Overpowering The whole gym when I first purchased it, I use it as a slip bag which obviously means it's swinging back and forth past my head which is really hard to do due to the odour. It hangs in the middle of my gym and it is the A0 - smallest size. Which means I can easily unhook it whenever it's not in use and keep it in a corner.I have an actual water bag that fits 55litres of water and

Pros
  • Sports & Outdoors
Cons
  • The product may not be very versatile in its applications

Hole small but worked for our purposes

The hole at top is kind of small. We used steel wire vs rope so worked great for us. If we had tried to a wide, sturdy rope through twice, it would not have fit.

Pros
  • Made by a trusted brand in marine safety
Cons
  • The product may not be very efficient in marking underwater gas lines

Great and easy to inflate

Pros - easy to inflate, liked vivid blue and white color, size good for 24’ boat, appears very sturdy and durableCons - lost one while on the water and couldn’t find it when we went back, really miss it

Pros
  • Fill with water using any regular hose sprayer (no need for attachment, just aim steady).Aqua heavy bag.
Cons
  • The buoy may not be very effective in anchor retrieval

Not for a boat but for hitting

This is a great alternative to a teardrop water filled bag! Saved a lot and it works great for what I use it for (boxing and striking). For the people who are looking at this as a striking bag, keep in mind that the temperature has a lot to do with the hardness of the Buoy/Bag. The colder it is, the harder the bag will be (to the dangerous level). It could be hitting cement!. I filled this about 70% and as the temperature gets warmer, it's softer and more realistic to the fell (of hitting an…

Pros
  • Can be used for navigational purposes
Cons
  • The product may not be very efficient in marking underwater mines

A boat saver! best in my review

While traversing the Erie Canal we made the change from standard cylindrical fenders to these commercial-style Polyform buoy fenders. What a difference. Helps keep your boat away from the rough walls and holes, especially if you're [ahem] in a lock with one valve on a really windy day. trust me.

Pros
  • Offers peace of mind for boaters
Cons
  • The buoy may not be very effective in identifying boat lanes

Great As Punching Bag!

I purchased this for use as a heavy bag. It works fantastic! Really comfortable to hit with gloves on. This is the A4 which is 20.5 inches x 27 inches. Weighs around 180lbs filled with water. I used a jet sweeper nozzle with a shutoff valve behind it to fill. A 4x4 secured by joist hangers and an inexpensive tire swing swivel. 220lb rated spring and a couple threaded 3/4" chain links. I also needed to buy a 3/4" anchor shackle to atatch the bag to the rest of the rig. This set up is very smooth

Pros
  • Available in a range of colors
Cons
  • The product may not be very effective in marking fishing areas

Exactly what we needed to keep boats away from our dock

It has faded just a little (we got the yellow) but is still quite bright. Obviously a very tough product. That's my review!

Pros
  • Great product, bright red color is very visible, quick delivery was nice and the price is right.
Cons
  • The product may not be very efficient
