Great for boxing! good for me

First off, I would like to say that I’m a 15 year old. Secondly, I do not use this as a boat buoy. I use it for a punching bag. I have just recently gotten into boxing, and around 4 weeks ago, I saw a new heavy bag/maize bag called the aqua bag. I thought it was a good idea in theory, but it was way too expensive. I looked around on the internet for an alternative, and found that people were saying that using a boat buoy and filling it with water worked great! I decided to spend some money that

Pros
  • Can withstand rough handling
Cons
  • The product may not be very efficient in marking navigational routes

Works perfectly! - my new review

Perfect for use to mark off a swimming area off our dock at the river, and the price is much more reasonable than most other similar products.

Pros
  • Looks well made, should last a couple years
Cons
  • The buoy may not be very user-friendly

Great water training bag for boxing!

After seeing people use this as a water training bag for boxing i decided to give one a try. I used one of the small water hose water balloon fittings to fill the bag of hot water to help work on creases. I haven’t filled the bag more then 3/4 full an it’s working wonderful. I will fill it up more in time Then give a updated review. If you want to set up a cheap water bag for training get one of these and rig it up. This is so much cheaper then buying name brand and does the same thing.

Pros
  • Offers versatile applications beyond boating and fishing
Cons
  • The buoy may not be very efficient in marking underwater constructions

Had some tears in the material

Came with a few apparent tears in the material. Don’t think that’s normal but hopefully that doesn’t affect its durability in the long run. We’ll see!

Pros
  • Commonly used as a marker buoy, anchor buoy, or mooring buoy, and provides enhanced protection when used as a boat fender
Cons
  • The product may not be very compatible with certain docking systems

FILLING THIS THING IS A NIGHTMARE. things to consider.

I got this for boxing based on reviews ands its CHEAP. Cheapest way to hang this: soft loop tie downs(picture above) 18 inches. Comes to a perfect height off my free standing stand. To open the fill hole, i used the handle of those black clamp paper clips, but normal people use a flat head screwdriver. To release water, I used a nail and lightly pressed in the whole to remove air, and water. The worst part is filling this dam thing. It comes deflated. I had to check the reviews how put water in…

Pros
  • Helps prevent collisions
Cons
  • The product may not work well in areas with rocks or debris

so far so good: my feedback

I installed these on the dock to keep my boat off the pilings and after two weeks they are incredibly durable and keep the boat for rubbing the rails. I purchased two and they are working great when the day-boaters go by at maximum speed.

Pros
  • Suggested for boats approximately 20-30 ft. long, when used as a fender
Cons
  • The buoy may not be very effective in marking lines on the water

Punch away good for me

Filled with water and used as a punching bag. That's my feedback! I don't think you need any larger size unless practicing kicks.

Pros
  • Perfect for using for Jetski. High quality!
Cons
  • The buoy may not be able to withstand extreme weather conditions

It makes a great heavy bag!

I wanted an aqua bag for my home gym and I found other reviews that used this as a punching bag for less than major brands so I decided to give it a try.The set up was pretty easy - make sure you use a stud if hanging from a ceiling. I included pics of my set up which all components extra capacity to hold the weight. The hardest part is filling it with water. There are videos out there to help explain the process. Note most leave out that you need a nozzle less than 1/2” to fit in the hole and…

Pros
  • Can be used for a variety of applications
Cons
  • The buoy may not be very resilient to damage

High quality buoy! Exceeded my expectations

Great Buoy! I bought this to attach to a mooring anchor so I could quickly find the spot to anchor my "water toys"I was very impressed with the quality of materials and the inflation system was easy to figure out. This thing should last MANY years exposed to the elements. If I ever need to replace it, I would buy it again!

Pros
  • Provides a stable platform for fishing or diving
Cons
  • The buoy may not be very efficient in marking dock locations

It works as long as you're careful

I had to buy this because it's the exact model used in a robotics competition. There is an threaded hole for inflation at the bottom that comes with a white, plastic cap for sealing it. The cap isn't very effective at keeping water out: after a few dozen hours in the pool, the buoy was about 1/4 full of water. Also, if you lose it, the water pressure will cause the buoy to collapse.

Pros
  • Can be used in conjunction with other buoys for added safety
Cons
  • The product may not be very effective in marking underwater wrecks

22-pound claw anchor saved :)

I purchased this to use with a 22-pound claw anchor and I coupled it to a Shoreline Marine Anchor Retrieval Ring (Stainless Steel) (also availble on revain for about $10) and a large stainless steel caribeaner. I would encourage you to watch some of the many on-line videos showing how to use anchor retrival systems. My anchor was retained on some concrete debris of an artificial reed in 47 feet of water at 16 miles off the coast. My old go-to plan was to pull the line tight and make large…

Pros
  • Easy to spot in the water
Cons
  • The buoy may not be very compatible with certain types of anchors

Very happy with the purchase!

Buoys purchased to mark drop off in our lake swim area on small no wake lake. They are easily seen and were easy to inflate and install.

Pros
  • Polyform makes a quality product.
Cons
  • The product may not be very attractive

if you are using as a punching bag

You need a nosel for your hose and when u want to fill it is when u have it hanging but it will be messy you will probably get wet because its not meant for it and the nosel i got wouldnt stay so i had to hold it in place but its an amazing bag people say it weighs like 120lbs but it seems like more the thing is heavy Hope this helped!

Pros
  • Simple to install and secure
Cons
  • The product may not work well in areas with fast currents
