Review on L Faster Bicycle Fixed Sprocket Brake by Ricky Gilbert

I bought this to replace the pinion gear that came with my 500w 36v motorcycle kit. Something terrible happened and the sprocket that came with it was slightly bent, so it had to be replaced. I wouldn't drop the chain. Interestingly, this part will be the best component in my opinion. The gear included in the kit had large, pointed teeth that appear to have been sharpened to a sharper point through a manual process, while this is more in line with what you would expect from a flat-toothed 'bicycle gear'. Teeth. In the photo you can see the supplied ring at the top and the spare part at the bottom. I HOPE that since it doesn't have big pointy teeth it will be more tolerant of my less-than-perfect motor and sprocket alignment, but it could be less forgiving; I think I'll find out. Either way, the chain is putting force on the sprocket grooves rather than the top of the sharpened teeth, which should help fix any issues. It's interesting to see that they're not all the same, let's hope it's version 2.0!
