Much better than plastic

I've been replacing shutter magnets with plastic housings for years. The sun just causes them to crack after about a year and I was getting tired of replacing them over and over. These seem very solid and housed in metal so I expect them to last many years. The only downside is the screw holes didn't align exactly but at least they were a bit wider than the old ones so i was able to use one existing hole and the magnet covered the second old one. They work perfectly.

Pros

Easy to install and hold great!

Cons

The magnets may stick together, making it difficult to separate them
