Headphones worked great. My son and I used them on a 1700 mile trip from Anchorage, AK to Dawson City, YK and back. They survived hail, 3 hours of continuous rain and 12 hours of driving. Sound is good at 80+ mph for music and intercom. My son and I had trouble listening to books on Libby at high speeds, but the music on iTunes was crystal clear. The radio function was a plus when my phone froze or stopped playing music. Calls were clear and easy to answer. As long as the person on the other end of the call wasn't on speakerphone, the calls were loud. Over the course of a long day, we spent over an hour chatting with the intercom feature. It helped a lot to keep my 13 year old from falling asleep in the back seat of a motorbike. The buttons and dial were comfortable to use with thick heated gloves and in the pouring rain. The only complaint would be that we can't use Siri to change the music, directly on the fly, or call someone (other than redial). Overall, this is an excellent, inexpensive, and practical communication system. We liked it and would buy it again.
