The lids fall off by themselves
How can you ruin such a simple iron box? These people came with me. The bottom of the box has raised ribs at the top of the long sides to put pressure on the lid. However, unlike other boxes of this type, the lid does not have matching concave indentations that secure the lid and hold it in place. So the bulges push the lid out and the lid pops out. Just great.
