One of the best deals, glad I bought this.

I installed two red pro 6 TB disks and created a RAID1 array. Plus, as an additional reserve, I copy it to an external hard drive periodically.

Reklaendkyu still buy a UPS. Better joint, there is a list of compatible ones on the manufacturer's website.

I bought more memory for 4GB - but in my use case this is rather unnecessary.

The fan speed is adjustable (3 positions - minimum noise, cooling and maximum) The first two are quiet, the maximum hum is heard.

In general, all the noise is created by hard drives, especially if you take 7200 rpm. But I did not put it in the bedroom - so it does not create problems.

Backlight - adjustable, you can reduce the brightness.

Pros

Market leader Warranty 3 years (depending on the country may be up to 5 years) Excellent web interface. A bunch of different programs The speed of copying from a connected external drive is not bad (100-110MB), essentially close to the maximum for the possibility of the drives themselves inside the NAS

Cons

Some may find the settings complicated, but it's simple. There are videos and posts on the Internet to help. Risks of hacking "from outside" - if webmord is enabled. They can also take advantage of the vulnerability of the router. In general, they don’t keep things for which they will be ashamed) The price is also a minus.
