Mixed feelings so I chose to rate somewhat in the middle. Below I list some issues I've had with them. Keep in mind, though, my 8 year old LOVES them and they do look cute worn. Likely would do best for costumes or occasional wear.They remind me of the plastic type doll-hair that frizzes/mats easily. Except that they do this much more quickly. Within an hour-and-a-half of my daughter wearing them (for the first time) and playing with them in, the darker and lighter purple tangled up so bad I couldn't pull them apart. I was able to salvage them by cutting off the tangled half.Some of the colors have been shedding pretty bad. Like clumps on the floor and sticking to your clothes.Most of the pictures are right after opening and were frizzing up. We put a little argan oil on them and combed through them. Note- I recommend that you don't comb hard or too fast as it seems to make them static/frizz up more.They feel soft and most of the colors are pretty and vibrant.The clips are like snap barrettes, with teeth- they snap in very easily and hold really good. No trouble with removing them from curly hair.
