This is a great windshield for the Blue Yeti. The tight mesh of its construction not only helps eliminate pops and wind, but also provides an overall smoothness to the voice prior to any edit. I find this very attractive as I think Yeti tends to emphasize higher frequencies in the voice. I use it in addition to a pop screen, but I find many people get away with just this windscreen, especially when space doesn't allow for a traditional screen. The color also goes very well with the silver Yeti. My advice is to be patient when tightening and pull it a little closer to the edge at various points around the mic as it's quite tight, but it's good, especially for people like me when mounting the Yeti upside down .
