This solved my problem where my new panel didn't fit the back panel, it was a 3 inch gap. I knew that sooner or later it meant something that I would move on. That top sill of the oven (oven timer, salt and pepper shakers, etc.) slipped and fell behind the oven causing a nightmare when trying to get it out of there. I looked at a few record racks at Revain and settled on this one and I love it. My clearance is now significantly reduced, and the rear edge of the new shelf keeps items from sliding and falling behind the countertop. Two strong magnets ensure it stays in place. I was concerned this product would be junk and look silly on the top sill of the stove, I WAS PLEASANTLY SATISFIED, it looks great (chrome on chrome) and solved my gap problem. The great thing is, if you're worried it won't work for your plate/gap issue, there's a big note on the shipping box that says if you're not satisfied within 30 days, send it back for a refund - that is "easy" - try it, I think you'll regret it! VERY happy with this purchase!
