Very comfortable, the stones are bright and shiny. The posts are long enough and I didn't have any skin reactions despite sensitive ears. However, they are incredibly difficult to put on. I bought these for my ear lobes and found it very difficult to hold the small ball so I could screw it onto the stand. I think I have pretty good dexterity, but I really struggled with it at first. Now I'm better with practice, but it's still not what I would call easy. I'm the smallest size so I don't know if the big stones have big balls for better grip. ;-) It's also worth noting that some of the balls were screwed in so tightly that I had to unscrew them with pliers. In short, I still recommend them for those who don't mind a challenge. But if you're struggling with arthritis in your hands or aren't very dexterous, I'd probably look elsewhere.
