color first "catchy". They are comfortable and fit my feet perfectly. Usually choose women 9 but have noticed that asics are running low. Since I couldn't find insanely colored ladies in my size (prefers tri 11-12) I went for the men's size 7.5 and they are perfect! I'm not a runner but I'm on my feet quite a bit at work and I find the Asics give me a lot of support.
