This is a great board for kids just starting out. I have a professional comparison board next to it. I'm an adult and grew up skating for fun. Obviously there is a big difference in quality between a professional board and this board. You won't do buffing, 50-50 foils, or anything serious with this board. Maybe kickflips and ollies. As you can see in the picture, the board with the wheels bites due to the rails and wheels, which are made of soft polyurethane and are very grippy. The only problem is that if you cling to the soft polyurethane wheel, you'll fly off the board. Harder wheels make the wheel bite less noticeable and do not stick to the board. Also truck mounting nuts are not standard but try to give you a tool to unscrew them. All in all, this is a great board for kids as they don't face the problem of wheels getting stuck during frequent turns. You can always swap out the wheels for harder ones and that will be fine, but it's the design that makes the wheels bite. Trucks are too low causing the wheels to bite. They installed a riser washer, but it doesn't seem to do much to prevent the wheel from seizing.
