My work has recently shifted from business casual to smart casual, which means jeans, a collared shirt and shoes instead of sneakers. Instead of wearing my fancy shoes with jeans, I bought them to be comfortable and make HR happy. These are fantastic shoes, very comfortable and fit as expected for my size. The ONLY downside to these boots (guaranteed not to drop a star) is that when wet the leather will turn dark brown for about 15 minutes until the water has evaporated. It's not that bad, but if you go to the bathroom, wash your hands, and pour some water on your shoes while grabbing paper towels, it looks like you've peed on your feet.
