good joints once you figure out how to use them.

My only complaint (having worked out with the ankle attachment all day) is the limited instructions that come with it. Safety tips only. How to use this correctly is something you have to find out for yourself, but one day it will lead to close connections. The first thing to know is that all die heads must remain on the spindle to allow the nut to engage the threads. The unneeded cutting tools are placed over the wide top cutting tool and simply "cut the air" across your work piece. I used it on a corner stopper. It wasn't possible to hold the workpiece tightly through the thickness, so I built a sacrificial stop (this also reduced chipping when the cutter comes out the back). The first try was too deep and the piece broke out of my clamp and knocked off my 90 degree angle stop. This made the next practice session confusing as the cut was deeper when entering the tree than when exiting. Resetting the corner fence to a 90 degree angle solved this problem. The router cuts 5/16" as they say so I started by marking a 5/16" guide on my work piece and lining it up with the end of my fence; This allowed me not only to touch the shoulder bearing, but also to secure the workpiece at the fence. Feed the work slowly as all or most cutting heads will cut a lot of wood. I had to adjust the height of the bit to fit the halves. I measured from the side of the workpiece cut off by the wide top knife to where the last narrow knife ended (above the shouldered bearing). With the wide upper knife, this distance has become the height of the lower cutting edge and fits perfectly. All in all a great product.
