good joints once you figure out how to use them.

My only complaint (having worked out with the ankle attachment all day) is the limited instructions that come with it. Safety tips only. How to use this correctly is something you have to find out for yourself, but one day it will lead to close connections. The first thing to know is that all die heads must remain on the spindle to allow the nut to engage the threads. The unneeded cutting tools are placed over the wide top cutting tool and simply "cut the air" across your work piece. I used it…

Excellent finger jointing nozzle

I received the Freud 90-039 finger jointing nozzle because it was the only nozzle that could handle wood over 1.5 inches thick. I used this attachment to connect a massive desktop. Constructed from 8 quarters (1.58 inch) thick white oak. This made a very accurate connection in one pass on the router table (some of the posts I've read talked about using multiple passes and I agree, but going through 60" boards in one pass made everything so much faster and easier did it nice and slow). Freud 99-039 Variable Height Finger Joint Bit

Now that I've finally figured out how to set the bit up properly, it works like a charm. I agree with the other posts above, a guide would be very helpful, but I still feel silly that I haven't been able to figure out how to properly set the bit on my router table until now. I feel obliged to pass on what I have learned.
