Crappy plastic box design and even worse product box labeling. .Guess what? - Model 38569 has 1/2" male AND 1/2" female threads on hot and cold connections. You'd never know it from a box labeled "Copper Sweat Connection". The photo in the corner of the box is legal and shows a 1/2" male thread; you only have to be Sherlock Holmes to find out that it is suitable for 1/2" pipe/PEX threaded connections. I wasted my time buying another box as I didn't have my lantern with me. The box says "Made in USA". I believe the labels on the box were made by the same guys who did the subtitles for Embrace the Serpent!
