Review on Efficiently Maintain Your Toilet: KOHLER GENUINE PART 87998 Small Flush Valve Kit by Rick Howlett

After our toilet was regularly leaking water from the tank into the bowl, we learned that the main seal was mostly destroyed. Fortunately, there was information about the details inside the tank. Unfortunately, we couldn't find the part of the valve assembly that we really needed, the gasket, so we ended up going with this kit. After receiving the kit, we removed the gaskets from the tank assembly instead of replacing the entire assembly. and from the assembly we received and fitted the oil seal to the assembly in the tank. The replacement took a minute at most, and the tank no longer drips into the bowl. The downside is that we now have the rest of the new build that we don't need. So this build is the right part for our tank, but we had to buy the whole thing to get the one part we needed. If we could just buy the print we would be much happier and probably spend less money. So our review isn't on the assembly, it's on the need to buy a bunch of everything we don't need to get the probably inexpensive thing we needed. Enjoy!
