Review on πŸ”‹ Amprobe BAT-200 Battery Tester: Optimizing Battery Performance and Reliability by Seann Barnes

I prefer the Sinometer

All the old batteries (4 batteries, 3 sizes) I've tested have turned out fine, although they won't work with their devices. I also found it more difficult to keep the batteries in place than with the Sinometer. I bought my first Sinometer BT558 self-powered battery tester nine years ago and have since bought two more. All three work fine but I was away from home and needed a new one. So I bought this one because it was a bestseller and $1 cheaper because I thought I'd like it better. No, the Sinometer is easier to use and seems to me to give accurate readings. It doesn't look like it, but it's easier to handle, probably due to its smaller size.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
