I'm not new to sonic goggles to start with - I've had 3 versions of Lucyd and Bose frames. This is the first pair that looks like regular glasses. The temples are thin and the glasses themselves are not noticeably heavier than ordinary glasses. The back of the earcup is the only part of the design that gives away that these aren't just sunglasses. As for the sound - holy cow! You get loud. I can't turn them all the way on because they are too loud to enjoy. Noticeable bleeding of the sound at higher volumes, but it's ok at reasonable levels. The noise is loud enough that I was mowing with an electric mower and could hear both my music and my surroundings. The battery seems pretty good, I'll update it as I do more testing, but I've been listening to podcasts and music for around 3 hours a couple of times. days and still have 80% battery left. Music played and another 5 hours, still shows 60%. The bass is good, not outstanding. Telephoning worked very well, there are no complaints about my microphone. The controls require some training, but work very well. Overall, I like these glasses very much - especially the strong sound and the battery life.
