While I would definitely not recommend this for regular use, I think this product is great when you need a seat for your child and there are no alternatives. This isn't very difficult unless you have a weird chair back that tightens easily. The loop that runs through the chair offers many options for adjusting the height of the backrest. Obviously there isn't much support on this one, so you'll want to make sure your child is already able to sit up well. Most of the time due to the height of the chairs compared to tables I don't think it's super functional if you want your child to eat alone unless you have a booster seat underneath, but if you just want them to hang out really quick as long as hands free, it's great.
